Abstract
The development of a game using Dark Basic is both challenging and entertaining. The game ALL OR NOTHING uses Dark Basic to make a strategic battle game where each move is critical to winning the game. The use of a requirements document was necessary to determine the main components of the game. Once the requirements were set the ALL OR NOTHING game was broken down into seven main components. The seven main components were the opening screen, loading the images, randomizing the territories and soldiers, functionality of the territories, dice roll, battle, and ending screen. After these seven main components were set they were assigned a risk value according to how risky the component was. After this the components were put into a project plan. Then the development of game began doing the loading the images component first since the other components relied on this component. Then the randomizing of the territories and soldiers component was done followed by the functionality of the territories component. After all these were done then the battle component and the dice roll component were done. After all this was done the opening and ending screen components were completed and the project was finished. Attached is paper documenting all the work that was done on the game development of the ALL OR NOTHING project
