Abstract
This qualitative research study aims to examine the loss of young adults in Church of the Brethren congregations. Through interviews with young adults who were once active in the Church of the Brethren, this study works to understand why these young people are concerned about the state of the Church as a denomination, becoming less interest in church attendance and what qualities they are looking for in a church. It also aims to evaluate what some congregations have attempted to do in order to draw these young people back into the church. By interviewing pastors and youth workers in the surrounding area, my hope is to provide a better understanding of what young people desire from a church and how the Church of the Brethren can better reach out to this missing generation.
