Abstract
Phytochemicals and other antioxidants have been proven to elicit beneficial effects on various health issues that plague the people of our nation. Many of these people have turned to whole food supplements containing these compounds in an attempt to improve or avoid such problems. Juice Plus+® is one such whole food supplement that is backed by considerable peer-reviewed and published research detailing this supplement's ingredients and the effect these ingredients have on human body functioning and repair. This project will describe these phytochemicals and antioxidants as well as detail the research behind the benefits of taking whole food supplementation such as Juice Plus+®.
