Abstract
This paper is the result of research on current methods of animal population control. I examined animal population statistics, assessed the current methods of population control, and ascertained novel, more effective means of population control, especially in feral domestic feline populations. This research was undertaken with the intention of improving current techniques and possibly creating new practices that will reduce the numbers of animals being euthanized at animal shelters every year and to increase awareness among the readers of the seriousness of the problem.
