Abstract
This is a qualitative study on the use of art on Unit Three in the Commonwealth Center of Virginia. The project is a short-term study, which is approached with a discussion assessment viewpoint. It is a group art session that takes place on two separate days. I found that I was not able to predict what the patients' diagnoses were according to their charts. However, the project was successful in that all of the patients completed the project with a positive attitude and confidence in what they had done.
