Abstract
Digitized copy of the biography of the Reverend Isaac Newton Naff, 1817 – 1900. This is a reproduction of a copy of Naff’s manuscript originally written in June 1893. Naff was born into a large German Baptist Brethren (Dunker) family but became a Presbyterian. He was an 1849 graduate of Union Theological Seminary in New York, New York. In his autobiography Naff describes his early life and education, his travels and work establishing Presbyterian churches in Southwest Virginia, his family and the American Civil War.
