Author Biography

Jean S. Filetti is a Professor of English and Director of Teacher Preparation at Christopher Newport University. She also serves as Treasurer for the Virginia Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (VACTE). In the Department of English, she teaches courses in composition, professional writing, and American literature. As Director of Teacher Preparation, she supervises student internships and teaches educational pedagogy.
