Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to document the struggle of a student run organization to prove their worthiness and capability of venturing into the real world and solving real world problems. The organization will be known as GDeP and will consist of seniors and juniors with computer and information systems based majors. They will be challenged to create a database operated by a user friendly website. Moreover, this paper should illustrate the importance of a database created correctly with an entity relational diagram. There should also be some insight on programming languages such as PHP and MySQL as well as website constructors such as XHTML. Overall the paper should be seen as a blueprint to creating an effective database on a server that can be accessed and displayed by a webpage. Furthermore, this paper should advocate the benefits of a well structured database using a combination of applications to create a masterpiece.
