Abstract

This paper has been written in order to teach the reader about a new programming language by NVidia called Cg. The author, an undergraduate computer science student at Bridgewater College, is still at a beginner's level of programming in Cg and relies heavily on a book called "The Cg Tutorial" (Fernando). However, the following paper will give excellent insight into the history, usability and programming functionality of the Cg language with background information on the history of Computer Graphics.
