The Kline Campus Center is named in honor of Brethren martyr Elder John Kline, College benefactors John M. and Hattie E. Kline, and other notable members of the Kline Family. Groundbreaking was held for the Bridgewater Union on February 22, 1968. The building was constructed by the Nielsen Construction Company and first used in 1969. It was dedicated as the Kline Campus Center on April 3, 1970. The Kline Campus Center is connected to Cole Hall and Rebecca Hall by covered breezeways.

The Kline Campus Center currently houses the College’s main dining hall, a Presidents’ dining room, ample study space, recreation equipment, a lounge and a post office. It is the also the central information center for the Bridgewater College campus.

In the past, the Kline Campus Center has also housed the Bridgewater College bookstore, The Eyrie and Eagle’s Nest grill, meeting rooms, an art gallery, Student Life offices and a television room. Eagles Nest renovations in 2017 added a new Student Services Suite to the ground floor, rebuilt the post office and expanded study spaces.
