Abstract

Reaching is a theatre project written by Paige Cramer. The play follows the story of Tanya, a woman working for the Eternity Project evangelical company. The audience watches as Tanya’s intrusive memories appear onstage, blurring the lines between past and present. The play wrestles with topics such as religious trauma, identity, and mental illness. Along with writing and revising various versions of the script, a reading of the script took place in November 2024 with students and faculty present.
