Abstract
The purpose of this study ls to demonstrate the effect of explanatory style, optimistic or pessimistic, on expectations of career choice prior to employment, as well as overall job satisfaction once employed.
Optimism and pessimism have frequently been employed in discussions concerning behavior expectancies and outcomes. Optimism ls defined as "generalized expectancies for good outcomes"
