Abstract
The Round Robin Database Tool or RRD tool, is a tool that stores time series data in a fixed size database. It is used to analyze trends over time. This is done by maintaining a finer granularity for recent time intervals, calculating averages over larger time spans, and measuring how frequently events occur. I would like to analyze to what extent our campus network is used by looking at http requests and pop requests. Analyzing the network trends with taking into consideration the server hardware can document the need for the network to be upgraded.
