Abstract
This study will focus on the economic impact in modern times, defined as being since the creation of the nation of Israel in 1948. Furthermore, it will make the claim that Jerusalem is unique in the region for the positive impact the interaction has, due to the relatively peaceful relations between the three religions allowing for tourism to continue to blossom, which in turn generates other positive economic impacts, concluding with the suggestion that Jerusalem might possibly be used as an example for the region.
