Abstract
How a student is tested on information can make a huge impact not only on their test scores but, more importantly, whether or not they know the information. This study will describe and compare different types of testing methods or testing strategies used in mathematics. The types of testing strategies that will be administered to the students are multiple choice, matching, true/false, and fill in the blank. The mathematical questions on the tests will be both skill-based and appropriate for students in the fifth grade. The students' performance on these four tests will determine which testing strategy is the most efficient.
