Abstract
For my honors project, I focused on learning how different methods of statistical analysis could be used to answer biological questions. Descriptions of how to use the different statistical tests that I encountered this semester were compiled into the following manual. Explanations are included depicting when it is appropriate to run a t-test, a two factor ANOVA, a correlation, a regression, and a regression tree. Additionally, instructions are also provided on how R can be used to run each of these tests. By providing step-by-step instructions detailing how different analyses can be run in R, I hope to have created a product that will be useful to both Bridgewater faculty and students.
