Abstract
In a world increasingly interconnected through globalization, historians and international scholars alike are more and more interested in understanding the past in order to improve the present and the future. In terms of previous foreign aid efforts, it is hard to find a more famous or more discussed aid program than the Marshall Plan. Therefore, this paper examines the correlation between the implementation of the Marshall Plan and the improvement (or lack thereof) of economic development in three countries that received foreign aid under the Marshall Plan.
