There is a long tradition of ensemble singing at Bridgewater College. Currently, the primary ensembles include the Concert Choir, Chorale and the Oratorio Choir which serves as the festival choir that presents larger works, often accompanied by a chamber ensemble. The Oratorio Choir is comprised of the combined student vocal ensembles augmented by a volunteer group of interested singers from the BC faculty and staff, local alumni and friends.
The Chorale and Concert Choir represent the college on regular spring tours throughout the eastern US. The Chorale has also toured internationally in past years.
There are a number of student led ensembles that are currently active including the women’s a cappella ensemble, Chordially Yours, the men’s a cappella ensemble, A Cappella Fellas, and the Gospel Choir.
Many smaller ensembles have been active in the past including the Claricus Chorus, BC Glee Club, and a number of active men’s and women’s quartets.
