Description

There were four anchor trees. Here is the Hawthorne mixed in with low herbs like sweet William (Dianthus barbatus sp., Caryophyllaceae) and blue-eyed grass (Sisyrinchium angustifolium, Iridaceae) under the flowering Hawthorne (Crataegus sp., Rosaceae) with “Glenn Dale” azaleas (Rhododenron x trilby, Ericaceae) behind and various shrubs scattered about.
