Abstract
The purpose of this project is to gain experience doing field research, to assemble a reference collection of ectoparasites infesting Peromyscus leucopus, to research whether or not the infesting ectoparasites are vectors for animal disease and what other implications the host-parasite interaction has with the field of canine veterinary medicine.
